Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm going to get a new boiler in a 4 bed semi house(1200 sq feet), one installer suggests 24Ri but others suggest 30Ri, I'm a bit confused now, could you share your view?

    Best Regards

Do you mean 24 or 30kw boiler or a boiler model?

    Hi esox28:

I mean 24 or 30kw boiler, would 24kw be sufficient for a 4 bed semi house?

    Many Thanks

Even 24kw seem excessive for a 1200*ft house, id be looking more at an 18kw boiler, a v- rough guide is 1kw / rad, plus 3kw for hot water.

My house is 1150-ish , my boiler is 20kw , and oversized at that
