Worked perfect on open atv 5.1

CrossEPG is constantly crashing SAB Triplex box running Champ's OpenATV 5.1 overnight.

It's set up to save to the hdd which has over 100G free space.

Just wondering if I could turn off any of these EPG sources & still get full listings, & if it is likely that doing so would help.

Currently have EPG Settings like these

If I look in Setup/EPG/CrossEPG, (list of providers) the only thing that's checked is Sky UK OpenAtv Astra2 on 28.2.

And, under Setup/EPG/CrossEPG/Configure, I have

You don't need Netmed or Viasat. Not sure if it will make a difference but...

Not sure I couldn't get it working on 4.5 at all. The drivers activate no problem but it was like it didn't recognise it been plugged in.

check which chipset is in your dongel if you have the packaging . you need to have that version of railink activated

Had checked that all ready i even tried all the other drivers too and tried it in both usb ports.

once i had the drivers installed you go out of blue panel . dont search in blue panel use the network settings in the image

Haven't a clue what was wrong last. Night but reflash 4.5 there now and tried again and all went smoothly via blue panel and all thank fek coz i didnt want to give it to someone running open atv.

I have recently bought a new line for my stb (Amiko A2+ with E2). Replaced old oscam.server file with new and restarted oscam plug in. Just getting blank screen. Revert back to old oscam.server and restart oscam plug in, working fine. Anyone any ideas?

Anyone else having issues with Autobouquet not listing the RTE channels correctly the past few days?
RTE 1 is showing as RTOne
RTE 2 HD showing as RT HD
RTE News Now showing as RTNews Now
RTE 1 +1 showing as RTOne +1

Switching to any of these channels is crashing my AA2+

So is there any one image for Alien 2 that most prefer, or is it a case of personal preference?

Are you using the latest one from linuxsat? They changed something in it to fix the fada issues on the rte channels.

Thanks FrostyJim, that could be it. I've never updated Autobouquets, just been using the version that came with the Hyperion 4.5 image I'm running.
Is there much to updating it?

Updating to the latest version of Autobouquets fixed the issue.
For anyone else having this problem you can download the latest version of Autobouquets from here

Ftp the file to the /tmp directory on your Amiko Alien 2 using Filezilla.
Then telnet to the box and run:
opkg install /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-autobouquets-e2_20160111_all.ipk

You will need to restart your box and then add your settings back into Autobouquets and run it to reload the guide.

I think hyperion 4.5 has been around for a good while now
Very stable on my AA2

Freshpots Hyperion V4.5 has been on my box since he uploaded it here, no issues at all with this image for me.

Hi, I bought an AA2 box for my parents, I have one with pit hyperion 4.5 on it and works fine but my parents one keeps crashing, the screen just goes black, has anyone any idea what's happening? Sorry for lack of info but that's all I have

First thing i would check is cross epg
where is it saving to should be a usb drive or key
make sure its not saving to internal flash

You can use DCC
Dreambox control there is a tab for telnet


Or depending on your operating sys on your pc
If windows you could open a command prompt
Go to start / search / type in cmd
at the prompt type in telnet and the ip address of your box
EG: telnet [space ] 192.168.xxx.xxx the ip of your box

thanks amiko, I have a usb inserted all the time, also I'm having trouble updating to the latest version of autobouquet, any help?

Yep there may be a usb inserted but is cross epg configured to save to it ?

Go to menu / setup / cross epg / configure
and select save to hdd


I dont use autoboquets myself
I use dreamboxedit and configure the boquets as i like
just make sure to use a recent sat.xml list and do a new scan and put the channels in any order you like

I had to switch back to zardoz Hyperion 4.5 as 5.1 was way too unstable, it was hanging on reboots and hanging on bringing up bouquets ect..

Just updated to latest autobouquets and also put a new satellite.XML in there. Perfect image from zardoz.
