Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

exactly this game is nothing more than a friendly, switch over to hoddle and co if it bothers you so much and Kerr seems to be sobering up a bit anyway he must have had a bucket of coffee at half time

Yeah, because the rest of the team did great job so far.
Luiz has to play as a centre and a midfielder, no other player seems to be interested in passing the ball around.

Brazil really, really need someone who wants the ball. None of them look to go to the effort to make space to demand it. I wouldnt be a huge fan but Coutinho would have been a decent player to do that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,319 ✭✭✭Al_Coholic

De Vrij has been really impressive

He gave away a goal. Stop going on about the rest of the team who havent done that.

Doesn't matter what position hes playing, it was a poxy defensive header for the 2nd goal. Out of the all the directions he could choose to head that he chose one of the 2 that could lead to a goal (the othe rbeing to just head it in himself)

Though we did get to hear Kerr call him Day-vid Louise.

Nothing game my ass. I'd rather go home from a world cup with a Bronze medal than no medal any day.

Plus when Holland win it in 4 year , Kuyt will have a gold, silver and a bronze. :)

I know he did, but linking it to the PSG deal sounds silly.

As in the Brazil stats show they have much more possession but are loing 2-0. So he's right in my opinion.

With all the sums being thrown about for footballers, how in the name of God was Luiz valued at what PSG paid?

    It's incredible.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,029 ✭✭✭tastyt

Alkin is such a ****ing dope. How could you possibly think luiz toe pokes those free kicks. A two year old can see it isnt. And possession means absolutely nothing in football was another humdinger

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,017 ✭✭✭Chagan

    No chance that's a penalty.

You'll find it very hard to score goals without the ball.

Mainly because a lot of people disagree with your opinion. The sketches have been hit and miss this tournament but I've enjoyed them this evening so far.

Hmmm I believe you may be watching a different game to me. Was he not the fool in last game who was captain, and instead of worrying about winning a world cup semi final, he was wearing a ridiculous cap and holding up neymars jersey. If Roy Keane seen a player doing that there's a good chance hed have kicked him sqaure in the nuts

Yeah, but the way he said it was weird. After a long pause he added the bit about it's only what's on the scoreboard that counts.

Like he realised how what he had said was nonsense, unless he explained it better.

Think Kerr got his wings clipped somewhat at half time, he's not as chirpy this half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Type of game will suit the Dutch now. Should probably see it out.

Probably just about a penalty, even if Oscar bought it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Usual from Oscar, on his way down as soon as he kicked the ball.

Id like to hear what the ref said when Oscar asked him how he hirt himself if he didn't make contact.

Harsh one that. Don't think there could be too many arguments if he got the pen there.

Definite penalty. Referee probably realises it now given Blind's knee is busted.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,460 ✭✭✭Ishmael

    Should have been a penalty.
