If the teams are level after extra time in a world cup final, the teams should be forced to play on until a goal... forget about TV schedules etc etc... Same as the way they dont allow a tie breaker to win the fifth set at Wimbledon...

I'd hate that even more than penalties.

One fluky goal could decide the tournament. At least penalties have some level of skill.

I hated the golden goal when it existed.

The silver goal was fair enough though. At least it allowed the losing side to come back.
