Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What they do is tweet like a hundred predictions and delete the ones that aren't right.

    They do it for draws as well. They tweet every possible draw result, delete the wrong ones and then it looks like they correctly predicted the draw.

    I read on another forum that the group of people who made this twitter account made hundreds of tweets last night, stuff like "Messi will score", "Muller will score", "There will be a goal in the last 5 minutes of the second half", "Argentina will win on penalties", "Messi will miss his penalty" etc. You get the idea.

    They then just deleted all the rest of the tweets that were incorrect and left the tweets that actually came through.

    Its actually simple stuff when you think about it.

    They really messed up there. They could have at least made their tweets private until the game was over, and had deleted the incorrect tweets. Would have fooled more people.

    No. I can't believe so many major news sites ran that story.

    The woman speaking in the video going around is from the South, not the North.

    Some nasty scenes on the Copacabana after Germany scored and a tense athmosphere after the game.Can onky imagine the trouble if Brazil played Argentina. The locals were delighted Germany won, thousands of them wearing Grrman shirts.
