just wondering if anybody from the board was there and what they thought?
I saw them back in 2006 on the dark ages tour and at varies festivels over the years. I enjoyed the set and so did the crowd but i have read here and on other sites that "max is past it " etc.
Just wondering what you think.? Seems to be a lot of hate for him around.????
I enjoyed the set , max and the band had good interaction with the crowd and for €24 it was a good night plus beers.
Looking at there tour schedule, punishing to say the least, so cant say they are lazy.
Anytime they come to town i will support him .:)[

I was at it. Thought it was a pretty good gig. He did play a lot of older Sepultura and Soulfly stuff.

Yeah thats exactly what i am talking about^^.
Do people expect artists when they get past a certain age to just go get a day job??
Take a look at whats coming through the pipeline and there is not a lot of new bands to get excited about and how many of these new bands will still be around in 20years let alone 2.
not many me thinks.

I have great respect for any artist who can last in the music industry that
long and still provide a great night for the fans 20years on.
Imo Max is one of the living legends and i feel privilaged to have seen him in many venues and festivels over the years and whelans was one of the highlights for me.UOTE]
