Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

15mins till the Draw... Although knowing Uefa probably won't get to the actual draw till 11pm.

Them were rough days. This place went into full meltdown mode. Still a good few lurking around from then.

Different PPPs must give different results, for me that's showing a post-game meltdown from back to back defeats against Fulham and Swansea :pac:

Just checked there I didn't comment after until the realization that Benayoun might have been our only deadline day signing.

Not like they did with Eboue but a sort of 'c'mon Ozil, c'mon Ozil' similar to the way they chant 'c'mon Arsenal' would do nicely :)

I am not paying ant attention to newspapers, twitter or any other rumours as they're all just bluffing. When I see the player in the jersey i'll believe it.

How apt that our brand spanking shiny new Number 17 should score the goal to put us into our 17th consecutive Champions league campaign :)

I remember a time when posters were hoping we wouldn't make it, for whatever there reasons were

I think it was due to the frustration of us not spending. You are right though, it would probably have only put more austerity on the club and it wouldnt be much fun watching other clubs in it during the week.

Don't mind having one big hitter in the group tbh, gives us two great matches to look forward to. Hopefully the next two teams ain't too bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,483 ✭✭✭brianregan09

In fairness though previous iterations of Dortmund that we've beaten have been alot stronger, No Lewandowski this time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,264 ✭✭✭✭jester77

Just tuned in, it looked like Chelsea could not get Dortmund?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,752 ✭✭✭Mr Blobby

Meh.. They're weaker this year without Lewandowski.
    We can beat them.

I agree, we are stronger and they are not as strong. Still won't be easy, but I would be more confident this time around.

We're going to meet the best at some stage so sooner the better.

Why did City only have one group they could join?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,012 ✭✭✭✭Alfred Borden

Whats the chances we get Roma or Monaco in the fourth pot?

    and later would be preferable

eh, why did Liverpool get the choice of A, B or C? Why not Group F with Barca and PSG?

Sometimes your better to know an opponent then have little knowledge of them. Im a great believer that in whatever sport you play you only really improve by playing the best out there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,483 ✭✭✭brianregan09

I wouldn't be too worried about Monaco or Roma either to be honest , Monaco ave Falcao and thats it , Roma......well there from Serie A and unless you're Juventus you're **** lol

I'd rather we played Olympiakos etc. on a Wednesday night in between two PL games than Dortmund..
