The biggest penis I've ever seen was on a very short man. Godammit, it was very nearly down to his knees and as thick as anything I've ever seen. Was as gay as christmas, too. So being short doesn't mean a small penis. The guy was very short, like 5' 3" or less.

    It was shocking!
Oh come on you can't just tell us that without putting the story into context! Where (and why) did you see a naked midget with a giant dick?!

    'Most lads' are not 5'8.

'in and around', as in about 5'7" to 5'9". But you know what, I'll bow to your greater knowledge of the subject, because it's not something I've given a massive amount of thought to and seems to be something you've found the time to think through quite thoroughly for some fúcking reason.

Communal showers in college. He was walking around all soaped up with a massive dong on him. Never seen anything like it since, not even in porn. We were talking about it later and we were all agreed it was outlandishly huge.

I don't want to talk about it anymore. Suffice to say it was quite a dent to my own ideas about myself and I'm not small by any means.

Napoleon was a good 2" taller than the national average of his day. By today standards, he'd be around 6'0"

The complex named after him seems to be equally b.s. Most studies have shown that shorter men are LESS LIKELY to be aggressive and LESS LIKELY to lose their cool.
The study discovered that short men were less likely to lose their temper than men of average height...Heart monitors revealed that the taller men were more likely to lose their tempers and hit back

If we're going to make fun of manlets, let's at least be factual! Instead of calling them aggressive, we should mock them for being timid and afraid to stand up to taller men.

a legit 5'9 barefoot is not short

the average height of an american white male between 20 and 45 is actually less than 5'10, about 177.5cm or 5'9 5/8ths, black males are slightly shorter and hispanic males alot shorter as they average 5'7 http://www.halls.md/chart/men-height-w.htm

    Pele - 5'8''
    Maradona - 5'6''
    Messi - 5'7''
    Best - 5'9''

    Hmmm...

The taller candidate has almost always won the Presidential/ Prime Ministerial election in the US/ UK and there are countless studies that show taller individual enjoy more success in business and sport.

I'm around 5'7. I'd rather be a bit of a short-arse than the kind of unimaginative dullard who thinks someone's height (or lack thereof) is something that merits piss-taking. I've never felt that being shorter than average has negatively impacted upon my life in any way.

It almost definitely has. You have probably been overlooked for promotions, by women or enjoyed less sporting or other success as a result. I suppose you can't miss what you never had.

Do you think every tall fella is more successful with women?

No, obviously not in every single case, but generally speaking, yes. It is a fact.

Taller CEOs tend to get paid more as well...

If there's countless studies that show that taller individuals are better at football than Pele, Maradona and Messi then I'm sure you'll be willing to share some of them. I'm interested to see their methodology here. :)

Little people like Messi are good at football because they can run under the legs of the normal-sized people.

It didn't help Messi last night did it? Did it!?

Yes, another fact. Apparently 'elevator shoes' are common on Wall Street and in Hollywood, and for a reason.

I didn't say football, did I? I said sport. It's easy to identify a few exceptions to the rule.

So the world's most popular sport conveniently becomes "an exception"? :pac:

No the sport doesn't become an exception, the few examples you mentioned are exceptions. When you take them in the context or sport more broadly, they become even more of an exception.

Your assumptions say a lot more about you than they do about me, to be honest. You seem to attach a disproportionate amount of importance to height. Would it be fair to suggest that this might be your crude method of compensating for any intellectual shortcomings that, as evidenced by this thread, you may or may not have?

    Not really: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Height_in_sports

Advantages for below average height include:
Faster reaction times (shorter neural networks)
    Greater strength to weight ratio
    Faster limb acceleration
    Greater endurance
    Greater power to weight ratio
    Faster rotational capability
    Greater agility
Greater balance and lower centre of gravity
    Lower risk of heat exhaustion

Advantages for above average height include:
    Greater absolute strength
Greater work capacity (force multiplied by distance)
Greater work per unit of time (Power)
    Longer reach
    Greater visibility
    Lower resting metabolic rate
    Lower heart rate
    Less likely to become dehydrated
Greater speed and power due to mechanical advantage

It depends on the sport, it's not nearly as clear-cut as you make out. There's probably is a positive correlation there among height and sporting success, but sporting success among smaller people is by no means an "exception".

Look, we can put an end to this by referring to Game of Thrones when the little spanish guy nearly had the big mountain guy beat but then the big guy crushed yer man's skull.

    So, bigger = better.

    Science.

Agreed that it is not always beneficial to be taller. But if you were to apply the benefits of being tall/short across the spectrum of sports, the benefits of being tall would outweigh the benefits of being short.

I genuinely feel bad for you, I used to troll forums too back when I was a complete loser teenager. And I'm sure all those 'promotions' and success with women and sports are great, but when you're ready to grow up, take a long look at yourself and ask why you're spending your free time winding up people on the Internet? You'd think you'd be out taking advantage of the many opportunities available to you because of your superior height. No, this must be better craic.

Manlet out. I've got some rage to get off via weight lifting and martial arts.
