Yes it is happening now in Tralee. I'm still awake and just as well as there are loud claps of very near thunder.I'd say there's lightening too but I haven't looked out.No rain.

OMFG, the thunder just there is the loudest I have heard, would undoubtedly wake a light sleeper.

    Where?

Started raining in Tralee now. Must be at least 20 flashes in the last half hour.

Lucky you! Looking at the radar nothing for Dublin again..

Wexford has some sort of Starship Enterprise shield going on.. It seems to fizzle out as it goes north:mad:

I'm in Tralee town centre. Thunder and lightning every 90 seconds. Crazy. At least 30 flashes in the last half hour, rain getting heavier.

Its hard to know whether ill get some here, the lightning is happening randomly as well in some areas, without any rain... going by the radar anyway

i must be looking in the wrong direction, not seeing any flashes.

Definitely moving in from West of the City.

Hasn't been much activity at all though just one or two flashes.

I'm desperately trying to hold on, but for some reason this is the night my insomnia chooses not to kick in!
