Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Attempted Theft, Dublin 8

    Hi guys,

    Going to ad mine to the three other threads on the front page about stolen or attempted thefts! (Been a busy week for the scum it seems)

    So as the title states somebody tried to steal my Bros this morning between 1am and 6am, it was found at the end of my road (Dublin 8, Liberties) just parked up on the path with the lights on, ignition barrel broke.
    Needless to say I'd gotten lazy with regards to security and there was only the steering lock on it. disc lock etc safely inside being no use to anyone.

    Tho its ground anchor and alarm for me from now on.

    So anyway, just letting you guys know so you can keep your own safe.

    Anyone know the best place to get the barrel replaced? I'm guessing just go to city spares?

    I reckon we've all let our security lapse every now and then, threads like this are a wake-up call. Glad you got the bike back op

    Sorry to hear that mate.....with it being summer n all the scum have very little to amuse themselves so prey on hard working folk for kick n jollies. It prolly would have been better for you if it was taken as you will have to foot the bill now for the damage done to it.
