The central locking in my car is a bit banjaxed.

It works on two out of four doors.

Where should I bring it to get it looked at without being fleeced?

My mechanic admitted he doesn't know enough about central locking to fix it up.

    Thanks.

What year is your car? I ask cos I was having the same issue with my 08 A4. Every now and then some of the doors would randomly not open with the key fob. I was told it could be loose cables that physically unlock the doors or possible something electrical. Due to other reasons I recently had to intsall a brand new battery and so far no problems with the doors.
