I'm not mad about evs' the technology is pretty cool but i've never read much into it, seen this on my facebook and though you guys might be interested, whats the opinion? Nearly 700mpg? Are they pulling figures from the sky or what? In fairness averaging 43 mph around it with the engine only being used once might have something to do with it

The mpg figure being reported is completely pointless, it ran most of the lap on battery power only, by the same logic a pure EV would achieve infinite MPG :)

The plug in Prius is a ridiculously expensive waste of time.

The price premium is huge for such a tiny battery.

It's a bit pointless because the battery is far too small and anyone driving one is usually driving 5-12 miles per day which is perfect for a full electric car, so why carry the extra weight of the engine and not fill it with batteries.

    It's about8-10 k more expensive than a leaf.
