    Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a system that can be wired to the network and stream music from my NAS (Synology) which has support for DNLA & Airplay.
Speaker is for a large open plan room(70sqm) with high ceilings.
Want something tidy looking, had been thinking Denon Cocoon but don't know if it'd be powerful enough?

    Cheers

    Hi Dos30.

The Cocoon is fantastic but that is a big room that you have. However I think the Cocoon may be coming to an end as its been a few weeks from we received stock on them.

You could how ever perhaps look at a system like the MCR510 with the BX2 speakers priced at £389.00

This would give a much louder sound over the Cocoon.

Would something like this be of interest to you?

Any questions please let me know.

There is a complete new system coming out from Denon shortly called HEOS - its a network wireless system and its simply the best product I've seen in the audio world in the last decade - it comprises stand alone speakers and amps and adaptors that allow you connect to other amps - very like Sonos, but with far more features and sounding WAY WAY better!

Heos is esp brill if you have any legacy Denon amps or especially any Denon network receivers as they work with these to allow control wirelessly..

    Have a look here:

We are expecting the first units with us in the next couple of weeks and honestly I'll be having some of them home in my system..

    keep us posted,

Thanks Lads,  I might hold off so and see the price point for the Heos.

    Hey Dos30.

    No problem at all.

As soon as they arrive in with us we will be putting a post up on boards.
