help on how to stop an international transfer from my account

    hi,

    i need help on how can i stop a transfer to an account from the web site or any other way,
    due to the fact that the account of destination is not active and never will be because the owner of the account didn't activate it; what can i do?

    Thanks for your post and welcome to Boards.ie

    If the funds were transferred to an inactive account, they should be returned by the foreign bank although this can take a number of days. 

    If you do not see the credit back to your account, please call Bank of Ireland 365 on 0818 365 365 / +353 1 4044000. If the payment was made on Business Online, please call the Helpdesk on 1890 818 265 / + 353 1 4606445.
