Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Which two to go for from these three:

Siggy with 3 points, Tadic, Pelle?

I'd do the 2 Soton lads tbh. They should score a minimum of 2 each and its worth the one point gamble for the chance of either getting a goal or assist. Even if they dont bag one then they could pick up key passes, big chance created etc points

Its like Tadic is designed to pick up extras in UFPL! It was mainly Pelle or Sig that I was thinking of really. I'll watch the match so definitely a lot more interesting to watch having 4 players!

I've only been having micro drops so its not the end of the world!

After changes I have 40 with Debuchy, Bertrand, Jones, Sanchez, Tadic & Pelle to play so plenty of potential for a green arrow!!

46 and red arrows. Mertesacker, Jones, ADM, Falcao and possibly Shawcross or Walcott all available to bring in. Will wait for team news.

Disappointing day. January ranking fell by 200 places so it's already looking like a lost cause

I guess probably best to ditch Costa (c) for Sanchez too though hmmm.

Wish I had never even thought of doing it now. Sigh. Bloody Costa wish he just could have blanked now!

Or just think of it that you have both! Sanchez and Kane in is working out quite nicely this week :)

Gonna free fall in the OR thanks to Sanchez. The risk of holding off on transfers being badly exposed by him

Certainly is. Sanchez already on 12! 53 with Tadic, Pelle, Bertrand and Jones to go. Not sure what I want to happen in that game! I guess a high scoring United win with Bertrand and Jones chipping in with some attacking points! 2-0 United looks like it will be a nasty score for me think I might put some money on that!

Brought in Kane and Sanchez this week and made Sanchez captain this morning taking it from Hazard. It's great to get such quick results from transfers for a change!

    Tadic on bench :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,366 ✭✭✭✭8-10

Elia starts in his place. Quality player

Not having Sanchez screws up my January score. Will focus remainder of my transfers on February's fixtures then I suppose!

Tadic is class tho. Their most creative player by a mile. I imagine he's nursing a slight knock hence the bench

You're probably right, Davis is probably the one in his spot.

8 points in 28 minutes from Tadic thats pretty impressive.

Finished on 80 max possible from my squad was 82 so happy with that!

88 points this week, my 3 transfers got 59 of them!

I think I'm gonna have to find a spot in my squad for him as he seems to score well in this game.

He certainly does he is always picking up the extras so handy on the days he blanks if you can still rely on him to get 4 points or so.

He's a demon for the extras - he's right up with Fab in this regard

Hard to find where to spend the money if you go with Austin, Ings & Kane up front! I'm going to end up with some big names sitting in the reserves and no doubt a couple of big scores in there too!

good chance i'll be adding in Sturridge so i'll have Aguero/Costa/Kane/Sturridge as my main striker options. Not bad ;) But there's great lower priced options in midfield and that seems to be where most of the points are at in ultimate

Absolutely players like Tadic & Fab are made for UFPL they seem almost guaranteed 4 points even if their team loses. Good to have a game where basic involvement is a lot more rewarded than FPL. With your budget defense you can always come out with a few points when they get a bit of a beating just from all the clearance and interceptions some get vs the big teams.

true. these can make a difference alright. centre backs for obvious reasons score better in this regard compared to full backs. all adds up

    Guzan
    Ivan Clyne Van Aanholt
    Di Maria(C) Sterling Fabregas Tadic
    Costa Barnes Kane

Use my 3 transfers again this week I swear I will roll these next 3 over!

    Krul (Foster)

Cahill - Jones - Colo (Cresswell, Kompany)

Sig - Fab - Boyd - Chadli (Sanchez, Downing)

Kane (c) - Pelle - Costa (Berahino, Aguero)

Little bit worried about Bertand and Sterling in the reserves but what can you do!

Rookie error, never fully checked the line ups and have Caulker in my team even though he doesnt start today. Hutton in the reserves

Well we got that little bit of Kane fun out of our system now to pass the armband over to Aguero to let rip.

I'm sure a lot of people captained Costa which will hurt my ranking. I'm on 71 as it stands and will make at least 3 subs, probably 4 or 5. I'm way down in January though because of last week, 46pts off the top

Depends how many have Kane stats in the regular game show how many preferred him to Costa given the option! Hopefully not too many with him!!

71 is massive only 49 for me so far!! 3 in the late game and obviously 7 more to play if need be!

70 points today and Clyne playing later. Starting Lloris ahead of DDG turned out to be a mistake.

Have Dimichelles, Aguero and Naismith left. So will lose 3 points to start the 2 City lads tomorrow

Yeah i've none in the late game and only 3 bench players playing tomorrow and 2 on Monday. So will play the 3 lads tomorrow and see what happens, Theo is one of them so he mightn't even start

57 with krul/clyne/tadic to go today, decent enough despite taking the (C) off Costa

If it right before its still the right thing to have done. Shouldn't look at it in a result orientated way like that. Spurs home to Sunderland looked a lot better than a fairly dodgy United back line away to QPR.

I think I have 5 tomorrow and then Foster & Berahino as back up after that fingers crossed I don't need them!

It was a much of a much alright, still they are the thing I need to get right to make up the ground

Can't be worrying over variance/luck! As long as you make the right decisions that is the important thing!

3 points from clyne brings me to 73. Will drop to 70 tomorrow to bring on aguero and DiMichellis

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,579 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Up to 30th. Hoped for a bit better but last weeks disaster is clearly gonna take a while to rectify

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

nice one Downing. another transfer in working out straight away. 58 now with Sanchez(C), Kun and Rambo to go

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,366 ✭✭✭✭8-10

Downing adds a healthy 10pts. On 77 with Mertesacker and possibly Walcott to play. Missed out on 11pts by not captaining Costa but only so much you can do. 1 defender each from Everton & WBA tomorrow if Arsenal lads don't score well, but in reality I'm not expecting much from what I have left.
