Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

All joking aside, if THAT many people aren't happy with how the FAI runs football within Ireland (be it the national team, the league etc) then why not start a facebook page?

If it's that much of an issue then enough people will join or hear about it to merit some sort of action from them or at least get it into the news, which would obviously mean a greater call for action

Seems fair enough of a salary if he's generating all this revenue.

    But he's not...

And even if he was, what sort of idiotic organisation would come up with a remuneration package entirely based on revenue? Revenue increases are only meaningful if they come without associated cost/debt increases either now or in the future. Hence why we come up with useful performance measures such as "profitability" and "return on investment". Wonder why John doesn't mention them, something got to do with the massive increases in gearing at the FAI under his leadership perhaps?

His eye for talent is wider than just soccer, he gave this (future) international singing sensation a break.......

Delaney is there for life as it was his coup that got rid of the previous shower and he has rewarded those who supported him with plum positions and other perks

I wonder if the LOI went on strike for a year, would we be able to get rid of him and actually sort out the whole system i.e. youth development all the way up to the LOI itself and the national team?

All this talk about whether or not his salary is warranted is getting in the way of the real question.

How many rounds do we have to get through in Europe before JD gives us all a few cans?

i don't know anyone who thinks she's good anyway. at the sweden match she sang the anthem like a feckin lament. it's a soldiers song. it's meant to be upbeat and quick. the crowd hadn't a clue how to sing along at a ridiculously slow pace. another heap of shyte from himself.

Rooney earns that in around 8 days. Seems a fare salary for a guy who's responsible for football throughout the entire country.

President of the Dutch FA isnt on this kind of money. (Cant find the exact amount but i think it was around 200K)
That is an association with over 1 million members.

Irish state's revenue and Enda Kenny's salary v FAI's revenue and Delaney's salary....
