Hope its gone for the air show, never seen it this bad, or never hanging around like this anyway. Down on the seafront this morning there were 2 Spitfire looking planes cruising around then a huge wall of fog moved in and totally blanked the place out, been here since Thursday now.

Looking good so far - no sign of fog and the air feels a lot fresher than it has been for the last few days.

Lookin' good so far. If you look at Sat24.com time lapse you can see what's over the Sea burning off and the Wicklow mountains holding back/diverting what's coming from the West. We really do have a micro climate here in Bray, cocooned by the Wicklow and Dublin mountains. The Fohn effect will have us about 2 degrees celcius higher than surrounding areas too, yet with a lovely sea breeze.

    Forecast temps are 25c

Should be the perfect day to show off Bray to 85,000 people.

So either a very quiet military coup is kicking off on Bray Seafront or there are going to be some pretty cool military vehicles taking part in the show this afternoon.

The army vehicles are parked on the beach and they are letting people get inside the landing craft and try on the helmets and flak jackets!

There's a military helicopter parked close by too!

Great day up on Bray Head, the jets were turning around up there and sometimes they were close enough to see into the cockpit, didn't have to look up either, they were at eye level or lower, best place to watch by a mile.
