You said it's "Russian Chicanery" So again how did they get the Flight data recorders ?

You were asked to explain your comment before any mention of Russian chicanery and have balked. This trite little game is a familiar one with you and it belongs on the playground. The recorders could have gotten into Russian hands any number of ways. They are portable. Now if you're going to dwell on this in order to hide from answering mine and others questions about what you meant by your comment then don't waste my time. Just pat yourself on the back and say "tee hee, I showed him!"

I see now weisses that you're not really interested in a discussion but rather just to wind people up.

    Knock yourself out, so.

You threw in the comment about who was in possession of the recorders as if to suggest they were tampered with yet it's a fact that they were not tampered with and were handed straight over to the Brits. And now you're trying to weasel out of your little faux-pas by shifting onto a bunch of other stuff. You're not going to admit that your comment was nothing more than another cheap and meaningless jibe that you were caught out on and that's fair enough.
Actually the flight recorders were handed over to Malaysian officials initially.
I'm not sure how or why the Brits got their hands on the recorders.
British air accident specialists have been tasked with downloading the data from two black boxes recovered from the Malaysia Airlines crash site and handing that information over to an investigation led by the Dutch Safety Board.
Was the downloaded data passed on to the Dutch Safety Board investigation?

I was simply clarifying who had the flight data recorders. To my knowledge it was the Rebels. Yourself said it was the Russians. Hence the ? At the end.

Then you'll have to wait. I'm not being dragged off topic unless DPD just wants to admit he's not going to explain his comment about who was in possession of the flight recorders.

Excuse moi ?? I replied to YOUR question .. I have nothing to do with what DPD posts .. only that they deliver on time

It seems you are the one dragging our discussion into your issues with another poster ... almost looks like a deflection tactic

Well isn't that just typical. You post a quasi tongue in cheek comment about who was in possession of the flight recorders, the purpose of which was to allude that they were tampered with by someone (rebels/russians). The tactic is to just get the comment out there to muddy the waters, arouse suspicion, etc. Nevermind that it's completely fallacious, just get it out there to sabotage any quest for pure unadulterated facts. Then when it's been exposed as a lie, don't retract it, just leave it hanging there. It's purpose has been served. Except you don't even do that. You try to make up a different reason why you posted the comment. Talk about craven.

couldn't be bothered logging on to bellingcat.

Yes, EB, I'm aware of that now. They passed hands a few times before ending up at the lab in England. I read that they were at one point in Moscow, but I'm not sure of the veracity of this. All I know is that they were never tampered with despite DPD's shabby attempts at suggesting they were even in the face of confirmation by the analysts that they were received intact.

    More verbal sleight of hand.

"British air accident specialists" does not mean that they were the only ones qualified to examine the recorders as you are trying to imply.

I answered the Question. It was to clarity who had the fight recorders. I'm not responsible for people interpretation of a Question.

Meanwhile dutch criminal investigators are still waiting for the promised raw radar data the Russians said they would provide.
