Just saw this pop up on FFS http://anewpla.net/fpl/ captaining Rooney the same number of times as Costa would explain why I started the season so poorly! Also maybe time to roll out 352 more often??

still very good overall. i had Costa C for his big gw, but what hurt me the most was taking the VC off Aguero for HIS big gw!

Your captain stats are insane :eek:. If i deduced it right you had only 2 failures out of 10 GWs :eek:! This is a lot above average. By the way what's your total actual captain pts compared to maximum possible?
Last year I finished just outside top 1.5k and barely got my captain right every second time (54% to be precise). I don't know what your current ranking is and I know your team score is not all about its captain but nevertheless if you continue this run you're on for a glorious finish :cool:!

Granted you had some spectacular failures but 162 pts out of 10 GWs is pretty good methinks .

Cheers! I'm on 148 pts out of a possible 250 pts (59%). Yeah, Sterling against Villa and Aguero v West Ham are my only blanks. I'm rueful of those two missed big captaincy hauls, but am 3k overall so absolutely delighted with how the season is going.

Woah. Would have thought your percentage would be a lot higher. Means your team's flying . In a way it reminds me my season last year (though was not that high that early).

I only got 114 captain pts out of a possible 244 (this last figure reassures me on my team not being too much all over the place :pac:).

I must remember to ask you your captain choices from now on :P.

Managing to hit it right nearly every game week. Decent averages.

Go to view team history and its in the address bar it could be a single digit number I'd you signed up early or a seven digit number if you were later on.

I wouldn't read anything into the stats for formations from it. Impossible to tell if people are opting for 3-5-2 by design. In more cases, I doubt it.

eg A lot of lads on here would have had a very profitable 3-5-2 formation in GW7. But that wasn't by design. Costa was out, many had Aguero VC and many had Boyd with 8 points coming in.

114 (C) pts vs 194 (VC) pts :eek: . 80 points diff !!! :eek: !!! I actually can't believe it... Just checked... and... it's actually depressing.
With just half of that difference I'd be in top 20k (from 112k) and if I'd played my VC as C I'd be in top 2k.

I'll see you those two and raise you having done Jovetic (in for a hit as with Balotelli) the week before. Had three 2(x2) point captains in a row weeks 3, 4 and 5 while taking some silly hits at the same time. The run from week 8 to 11 was 38, 4, 32, 26 (after the x2) and everyone captained Aguero week 9.

Two things really struck me about these stats:

1. ADM has scored just an average of 5 points per game since I bought him in GW6. (the same ppg in that period as Wanyama!!!)
He’s 10th on my list when sorted by ppg played.
That cannot be considered as value for money in any way, make, shape or form. If he’s confirmed out this week he’ll probably have played his last game for me for a while.

2. Wanyama has scored 33 points while sat on my bench. Ouch.
