Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In the process on installing a new kitchen and utility in our house. It's an old farmhouse, and the kitchen would see a lot of traffic, lots of work boots- and the back door opens directly into the utility.
We've gone with a cream kitchen (intended to get something a bit darker, but somehow ended up with cream!!!), with a dark wood worktop.
Going to paint the walls in a light colour, and there's a wood panel ceiling, which I think we will paint white. I'm going to get a glass splashback, but I'm stuck on what to put on the floor.
Most of the tiles around are cream- and I think I'd be forever cleaning. I thought of wood effect- but maybe they would make the room too dark??? I'll be looking at them for ages, so I want this to be right!!

    Hi
It would seem a pity to move away from the traditional farmhouse style completely - it can be achieved with a more contemporary aesthetic if you prefer.
Floor tiles: don't go cream! Too much work - wood type are out of context also.
A mottled random type would be better - 2 photos below.
Instead of glass splashback would you consider Subway tiles?
    2 more photos below.
    :-)
