    Hi folks,
I made a homebrew about 8 years ago so still have the equipment.
My question though is, what beer kit would you recommend to brew.
I like German lager beers e.g augustiner but would like to get similar type drink in an ale as don't have the expertise to lager.

Any kits you would recommend off the top of your head?
    Thanks
    Brian

Lager from a kit is a tough one all right.

I've quite liked how the Cooper's Traditional Draught comes out: golden and very clean-tasting.

    one other question.
I found Cooper's Traditional Draught kit here for sale on the
homebrewwest website (boards isn't leaving me post the full url)

but there are load of extras to get with the can of malt that change ingredient cost from €14.55 up to €28.45

Any recommendations on the extras it offers on that link?
Also should I use dme or sugar?

    Thanks again

go for the first option ... the can and 4.45 for 1.5 liquid malt . dont bother with them carb drops.

Nice one -will go for that option.
    Thanks for advice.
