what's the deal with the intern year 11 days in arrears before getting paid? So I started work on 14th of July. Anyone know what dates of pay my first payslip on July 31st will cover? thanks

I'm in SJH. Our first pay day is August 7th. We work 11 days in lieu as you mentioned. Therefore first payday will cover July 14-31 (17 days), August 1-7 (7 days), so 24-11 give or take a day or two.

I know in SJH there is information on overtime submission dates and pay dates on the SJH intranet. Maybe check in your hospital if the same is available, or check with medical manpower.
