Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone ever bought a brand new car?

Always said i wouldnt, but im contemplating it. If its ever going to happen it'll be now. Just married, no children, 2 of us in fairly secure jobs.
Big benefit is you get the car you want, the spec you want etc and i'd probably keep it for 5/6 years, even longer.
    Neg obviously the serious depreciation.

Or should i just be looking for that nearly new car.. not get the exact spec i want, but save a few quid.

    No.

Get a demo model, might have a few hundred on the click but you will save a few grand.

Dont mind that, no probs with current car. Ideally want it for April anyway.

Keep an eye out on trade in deals either, if you dint have a car get one from the travelling community for a few hundred and then trade it in to knock a few grand off the new one.

Some good finance deals around too so would take sting out of it

    Are your kids nuts?

Yesterday my two year old comes thundering into the room and I asleep, I sat up gave him a hug and said good morning and he said "not morning daddy, back asleep daddy" and leaves.

This morning I woke to see him take a running jump onto me and I get "Miss you daddy, back downstairs now" and off he goes again.

I remember the days I used to wake when my body had enough sleep!!

Most of those places have a decent pint of stout, I'm a fan of Taffee's and they have a great pint.

F**k it, half 2 and I'd murder a pint right about now

Believe nothing that you read and half of what you see. They must be running out of things to write about in the indo. There are only about a dozen train routes on the island of Ireland (given its size, not surprising) yet he managed to pen an article about the top 10 Irish train journeys :) Ministry of misinformation would be proud!
