Blackcurrant mead?

    I just harvested a couple of kilos of blackcurrants from the garden. The last harvest went to making solbærsnaps, and I was thinking of making a blackcurrant mead from some of these.

    Has anyone made one? Any tips?

    I did! It has been aging nicely ever since. I must have a look at it, maybe a sneaky sip - I'll report back.
