Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm thinking about buying an iPhone but I don't have a lot of money. I have recently discovered that Argos are selling a refurbished iPhone 5 for €474.95. Has anyone ever bought a refurbished iPhone and if so, what was it like, was there any scratches/marks on it and did it work okay?

    Thanks

Not bought one, wouldn't buy one at that price either. If you search around on adverts or donedeal you'll find brand new 5s not far from that price, or 2nd hand iphone 5+'s with a receipt giving you a guarantee if something goes wrong for less money. A lot of 2nd hand shops offer 6 to 12 months warranty too for piece of mind.

Your other option is to wait a few months til the iphone 6 drops and the prices of older models should fall due to increased availability.
