I know you have to wait to get an offer and then you go on the website and book a place. But isn't there a personal statement needed? Anyone have any idea how long it should be and what I should include?

Yes there is a personal statement needed. Search through the TCD forum and you will find plenty of tips on what to do

It has a limit of 1800 characters, including spaces. Write a draft in Word, and see how long it is, I'd recommend using the limit if you can. Write about what you can contribute to Halls, and why you deserve a place in Halls.
