Flies everywhere last week

Did anyone else notice the amount of flies around in Galway last Thursday? We were playing tag rugby in Corinthians but thought they were just attracted to the sweat but someone else pointed out that they appeared to be everywhere... Anyone else notice this or know what was going on? They looked a lot like the house fly…

They looked a lot like the house fly but not as big.

They were driving us crazy on the pitch anyway. Was anyone else out walking/running and notice this?

Was running last week in city, exact same experience annoying as hell ! I was questioning whether it was just me being a bit odd !! Good to see not so!
