Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    He did indeed.
Juventus coach #Allegri to reporters "#Vidal's future? #Vidal wants to stay at #Juventus"

Hopefully we can move on from this saga once and for all.

Well, he's hardly gonna' come out to the cameras and tell them he wants out now is he?

He'll say he wants to stay. Juve will drive his price up. United will pay it and everyone's happy.

If all things go to plan the Vidal thing will be over with by tonight. Either he joins or he doesn't, at this point I don't really care I just hope it's over with soon.

    Its really ****ing annoying.

Its such a horrible English/ South side expression.

so....so far, it looks like the plan is to get rid of all the high earners and low performers (up to 8 senior players gone/going), replacing them with the likes of Keane, Blackett, James and Jesse.

smaller squad, smaller wage bill, but less experience and dare i say less quality. Vermaelen will come but not necessarily solve anything and then depending on how ambitious one more player will come, hopefully Vidal.

its quite possible that the club believes that 4th place is our lot for this year and that its going to be another year before we challenge for titles again - the bulk of the investment is actually going to come next summer. at the moment, it looks like the investment put into Herrera and Shaw is going to be offset in part by having £30million plus taken off the wage bill.

Allegri "I talked yesterday with Vidal to know his physical condition & now we're delighted that Vidal will remain with us."

Take your own advice and calm down. Take a valium. You seem to be getting very worked up, lad.

Apologies to other fans here for having to endure this. I usually try to avoid such nonsense, but sometimes you just have to highlight it and show a poster for what they are.

What an interesting morning to wake up to. The Shaw situation doesn't appear as controversial as first thought with the player agreeing to a plan etc.

What will definitely stoke the fires is the news Reus has rejected a new contract with Dortmund.

Probably goes to Bayern Munich, the Bild thinks it will be a battle between United, Bayern and Barcelona.

Barcelona are going to be transfer banned next season aren't they? Would Reus do a Gotze after the things he's said about it?

Also Cavani has been cut out of the new PSG jersey poster, looks like he's on his way to somewhere...

Cavani is coming to United. We're going to play a 3-3-4 next season and win everything 7-4.

Yeah...outragous amount of people Im finding using it. Especially in shops. Its noticeable because I foray to the south side every now and again with work or something else...and it sticks out. Never hear it being said north side. I'm talking about shops like. Someone giving me change going " and your change lad "

Seems to go with a certain type of young male stereotype aswell. Absolutely wrecks my head.

I know people from the Louth/Meath area and it's probably the only mildly endearing phrase they'll use.:p

Have they spoke on behalf of Vidal before? i.e. 'He wants/happy to stay' etc.

I thought previously they were speaking about their own stance.

Think that’s based on the same story from the Chilean newspaper this morning.

In other news “Vidal: I’m fed up eating spaghetti” seems to suggest he wants away from Italy although a headline in Marca “Vidal: How I love Rioja with my Tapas” would appear to mean he’s heading to Barcelona.

Can’t understand why we didn’t move for him last year – as a squad player though – Martinez seems to like Cleverly so maybe he’ll take him as part of the deal.
