Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks
    my dearly beloved kids flooded my phone with juice.

    dried it off and had it in jar of rice.
    Checked to see if there was any progress in restarting phone.
    Now screen is still blank but the flashlight is now flashing.

    is there any hope for my phone?????

    Same thing happened to me. Light was flashing and it became very hot.

    I left it in rice in the sun for 3 days. No joy. Dead.

    If you look in the headphone jack or in the 30pin connector you should see a pink coloured strip. This is to indicate water damage.

    I brought mine to an apple store and got an out of warranty replacement for €179. I was in holidays in Spain at the time. Better than paying full price.
