Was it something like the Blackbird and the Bell ?
Hosted by a philosopher/poet called John Moriarty?

    The Blackbird and The Bell?

Writer and philosopher John Moriarty (right) with an elderly male guest, probably dog trainer Patie Muldoon but this is unconfirmed, on RTÉ Television's 'The Blackbird and the Bell', during filming in Drimnagh Castle, Dublin in March 1996. This series, which was initially titled 'Apples of the Moon', was presented by John Moriarty and featured discussions with musicians, poets and writers. The first programme was broadcast on 9 January 1997; Patie Muldoon appeared on the show broadcast on 13 February 1997.
