I thought this might be a fun insightful thread.
Basically pick any game you've played or been exposed to that is the 1st or main game you think of when someone mentions that genre.
Can be from any console generation or arcade.
I've tried to include as many broad genres as possible without getting too specific
Also i've tried to avoid too many mixed genres (Resi 6? Action Horror Shooter? etc).

Goldeneye has aged terribly.
Bomberman 64 is dreadful, Super Bomberman on the Snes, or one of its sequels is far far better.

I was trying not to repeat Golden eye, could have picked Golden Eye as 4 player and Doom 2 as 1st person shooter, but it's just splitting hairs.

I don't think i ever played 4 player Snes/MD Bomberman games as they required that 4 player controller port adaptor.

But yes Golden eye has aged terribly
