These are the games where anyone says we dont need to strengthen much should definitely reconsider that. We've seen the good and bad from lot of these players, just shows the 'bad' has certainly not left them even under Sherwood.

Interesting half time for Sherwood now. Has to show he can react and adapt. Obviously game is lost, but has to prevent it being a complete shambles from start to finish. Then chalk it off as a terrible day at the office, we all go support Spurs and move on from there.

I came to express my enjoyment of a game of football. Couldn't find a Southampton thread.

5 mins into 2nd half, same team, same set up.

Looks like Sherwood is either stubborn or tactically unaware. Simply shouting at players to give more doesn't work at this level.

That said bench isn't great. No LB available, not Tims fault, and Senderos only defensive option. Sanchez for Westwood would have little impact on a high defensive line.
