I don't see why Lewis should slow right down to let Rosberg through.

Go for it, Nico, overtake by yourself.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,280 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

    Rosberg is nowhere near Lewis

    Nico is a baby

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,680 ✭✭✭Mike Litoris

This could get messy for Kimi with Massa.

Will Riccardo's problem give Alonso and Lewis an advantage

No. Seems to have gone away for now. Only possible advantage for Lewis would be if Ricciardo split the Mercs coming out from the pits but Lewis and Nico are slightly not far enough behind.

Rosberg is way too far behind.

Still plenty to play for. Ricciardo would come out right behind Hamilton/Rosberg if he pits. Alonso is holding on well.

Was Vettel ever has bad as Nico

Might as well just have Rosberg pit now to be honest.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,835 ✭✭✭dloob

Rosberg can't even get in DRS range now.

Rosberg back inside a second of Hamilton.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,831 ✭✭✭Peanut Butter Jelly

    Now 1.8 behind.

    Go on Ricciardo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,831 ✭✭✭Peanut Butter Jelly

If Rosberg gets 4th and Hamilton gets 1st, Hamilton will be 1 point behind.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,280 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

Alonso could win, I certainly didn't see that coming

If Hamilton can stay ahead of Ricciardo he has DRS to thank.

Stuck behind the Toro Rosso lap after lap is what cost him, he can't blame anyone

Good to have three different engines in top 3

Alonso did well to make those soft tyres last

How different would the championship picture be if not for Ricciardo's bad luck in the first 2 races?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,280 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

He'll probably blame Lewis for not letting him through

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,641 ✭✭✭andyman

Looks like Hamilton was right not to slow down for Nico there. It would have cost him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,680 ✭✭✭Mike Litoris

    That smile is infectious. :D

And why should he have slowed down? Rosberg wasn't able to get close to him. The end result shows he was right not to slow down and give away a second or two.

  • Registered Users, Subscribers, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,658 ✭✭✭✭antodeco

Hamilton was right not to let Nico passed. He wasn't ably to close up the 1.3 seconds. Bizarelly he was able to close 23 seconds in 9 laps. There was no way Lewis was going to let him get by on that last lap!

    WHAT. A. RACE!

    Fair play to Riccardo.

    Nice fella
