eircom 24MB speed low

    I am getting 24mb broadband from eircom and i did a speed test yesterday and it came out at 5.67upload and 0.64 download and ping was 47 . Why am i paying for 24 meg if im getting nowher near it?

    Usually its just "up to" 24Mb

    It could be anything from wifi interference to something else.
    Try again using a data cable connected to router.
