I'm reading reviews from employees on glassdoor about one company and somebody says that Kilmainham Square is a sh*t-hole of Dublin, is it so?

If the company you are reading reviews of is a large online bookseller, then they no longer have an office there (they moved quite recently).

The problem with working in Kilmainham Square is that there is not a great choice of places to get lunch from and it's a bit far from the city centre. I wouldn't really describe it as a ****hole though.

Do you know which direction they moved? Where are they now? Found.

It's not a ****hole and that company moved, lets call them...Amazon for the purposes of discussion. :pac:
Building is quite nice to work in.

Anyway there's a good few places to eat for lunch, lime tree (very nice food, sandwichs, soups, flafel, salads), the italian in inchicore, IMMA etc. That italian is the best value lunch in dublin with the nicest pizza in dublin too (two courses + any coffee for 10e). Few other places, not as nice, obviously spar and supermarkets too. Deli etc.

Are you talking about the italian Inn near the Kilmainham jail or near the new place? 10e for two courses sounds cheap. Is it healthy or more like a fast food?

Amazon have moved to Burlington road, I'm in the same building and they seem to have a pretty decent set up

It's about 10 minutes walk from the jail, it's a proper italian restaurant with Italian chefs etc and would be more expensive in the evening. It's honestly fantastic food but if you are applying to amazon this is moot.

The guy obviously has never worked in one of those far flung industrial estates whereby if you miss the 11am sandwich van (and don't have the car with you) - you're pretty much screwed. Kilmainham is luxury in comparison.
