Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Quick question.

My partners car is missing the drivers side indicator bulb and shade and the fan doesn't work, so the car is overheating a fair bit. I would have thought this was an NCT fail but apparently the car tested fine under the previous owner with the same 'faults'?

Bulb should be fail but not fan. Not sure why it was allegedly passed previously.
Are you asking about whether to change indicator bulb? If so, yes :D
    And get fan sorted too.
And the shade (not sure what this is).

The mechanic mentioned nothing about the light when she got it serviced on Saturday - the bulb it's cover is completely missing (or shade as I call it). The same chap couldn't fix the fan so there visiting someone else now. Was more curious about the bulb as I would have thought it was an instant fail and a basic road requirement.

Maybe previous owner was spinning a yarn about the bulb? Seems an odd one though.
Just get a new one and cover at some local breakers, adverts or ebay.
