Yamamori, Brasserie 66 or The Market Bar (for tapas- less formal). All on South Great George's St.

Trocadero on St Andrews St is fab. It's a wee bit on the pricey side, but the food is wonderful. I think they have a pre theatre early bird menu, if you are budget conscious.

Open to most cuisines - would rather no Chinese/Thai - just sick of them really....and our show starts at 7:30 so early bird menus

If you are looking for something thats not too formal and like chicken, Crackbird down the road from the Olympia is good for a feed!

IF you want nice pub food, the Bull and Castle is good.

    Bull & Castle is lovely.

Not if you're a vegetarian. I dont think they know what the word means. If it doesnt have lumps of beef in it then its vegetarian.

Chez Max right across the road is a lovely French restaurant. Reasonably priced. Their steak and chips is the biz.

If you're in pizza humour Cia Bella Italiano around the corner on river end of Parliament St is great. Great pizzas.

There is also a nice Italian on Crow St in Temple bar. Caffe Italiano. Kinda hidden behind a Brazilian shop. But their food is amazing. No pizzas. Just Italian delights and great wine. If it's nice you can sit out on the street.

I'd echo what others have said about Toscana. It was a favourite of my kids when they were teens.
