Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This guy could do a job for us, Mattia Destro, he scored 13 goals in 20 league appearances for Roma last season.

Our last 2 buys from roma went well so i dont see why not....

If we're going to sign a striker this week, realistically who's it going to be do you think?

    Carlton Cole

    Clint Dempsey.

Costa really is the Leagues new Suarez . Just got a Yellow for diving as he went past the Burnley keeper after anticipating a slack back pass (ala Suarez in his lfc days)

Chelsea looking ominous , sticking close to home in preseason is obviously paying dividends in terms of Sharpness.

So that's both Chelsea and City singing about Gerrard in their games this weekend. Classy

He'll be despised. His antics are worse, bar the biting!

Memphis Depay, as I speculated earlier. Archetypal Rodgers forward. Affordable and available.

Rodgers said he wants someone with experience who goes straight into the first team don't think depay fits the bill.

But Suarez was never booked for diving. It took Costa 30 mins.

    EDIT: I was wrong

    I don't think that's true...

My mistake. He received one in September 2012 against Sunderland.

I believe he has more,I seen the DM article with a table of those who recieved bookings for simulations and according to that dated Jan'14 he has two

Yeah, Suarez had two I think

Januzaj on course to beat Bales total. Plenty of time on his side. Bale was horrific it must be said

Don't forget the one against Arsenal, comedy gold it was.

    I don't think that's true...

If he did it was only once or twice over 3 years . Bale got more yellows for diving in one season then Suarez got in his entire time at liverpool, yet Suarez was the posterboy of diving in the premiership. go figure.

Arsed about fans singing about gerrard tbh, plenty reason for him to push on again as im sure he's watching tonight.

He might have only been cautioned for 2 but he got away with a fair few in fairness.

Looking at Diego Costa and thinking if only we had CL football when we were in for him, then we might have got his signature. Think he'll be the real deal for Chelsea this season.

He is the real deal for the system they will play.

Not sure if he would fit ours though.

What would people make of Burnleys Danny Ings as a replacement for Borini in the 3rd/4th striker spot. Looks dangerous .

He was linked last year, he would cost too much with the added tax.

So has anyone figured out why Ian Ayre is in Amsterdam?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,937 ✭✭✭billy2012

There was an add in the Times or Indo today - 'Have you ever had a slip or fall at work' with a picture of Gerrard . I had a little giggle.

Dope and hookers? Isn't that why everyone goes? Or is it just me? I've said too much.

It's a terrible state of affairs really when someone mentions Amsterdam and everyone automatically thinks of only 2 things :D

Barcelona are desperate to get rid of song he is now available for free according to reports. Didn't know he was voted the worst barca signing ever.
