I think we're seeing how the different pre season programs have prepared each team. Liverpool look much sharper than Dortmund.

We are playing some tasty football. Lovren is playing class and Coutinho is one sexy footballer.

Everyone seems to think Lovren will play right and Sakho left...why not get them started playing it today?? Interested to see what will happen. Can't have a 18M sakho sitting on the bench, and he has been class this preseason so far.

We look pretty damn organised, all things considered.

Great to see when you have a few new players, and plenty of youth in the team. Everyone knows what to do in certain scenarios, and knows their role in the system we're playing.

Almost bizarre thinking back to that off period he had, a few months after breaking through, when he just looked to pass it off and be a little pedestrian.

Reminder of the growing pains for young players, but my Christ, the last 8 months he has been incredible.

I have to say I agree but he has to make it as a professional footballer he has no choice or he wouldn't be able to afford his 8 kids .

Think Coutinho is going to go up a level this season. Looks stronger. Easy to forget how young he still is. Think we will see his goals and assist numbers rise.

Gerrard said in an interview last season he is the one guy he won't go near in training!

Dortmund are offering little, they are obviously a bit behind us in pre season?

As long as he doesn't call him "The Serbian Pique". That sort of comment did Joe Allen no favours when he was signed.

Gerrard should've been taking all our frees last season. Suarez wasn't consistent enough with them, where Gerrard got most of his on target.

A few people on about Can being quiet, he really didn't have anything to do. Dominating in Midfield and Sturrdige doing very well on the ball and off which is great to see.
