Anyone know if there are any buses going direct to the races from oranmore or craughwell areas this week. Would like to leave car outside city but if it's a thing I'd have to go into city to get another bus out to racecourse I'd just drive in altogether. Thanks

Buslink are again this year providing a direct service to the Galway Races from Oranmore Village and Maldron Hotel. Let us take the hassle of getting to the races away and help you enjoy the festivities. The fares are €7 single and €10 return.

    7 & 10 Euro for such a short journey??

What a rip-off taking advantage of race goers!

Wasn't the Christmas shopping bus from the race course to the city centre 2 Euro return? 10 Euro for a shorter journey.....

The trip from Oranmore is much less than the Christmas bus trip into town.

Another reason supporting why I don't go the races anymore.

Pretty steep alright. Even the shuttle buses from city out are crazy

Is that for both Parking and riding (if you will) or just the bus itself??

Nope: it was E3 per car. But it was subsidized by the city council.

If you think it's too dear, get together with a few fiends and hire minivan taxi instead.
