    Some good news for a change.

    Went into the local branch, (Ashbourne) today to make a lodgement, and there's a BIG poster in the cashier area, From Aug 11th, the opening hours are changing to remain open at lunchtime.

    OK, if I'm honest, it's not before time, the lunchtime closing should never have been reintroduced, given how hard it can be to get to the branch during the opening hours, so having an extra 5 hours per week will be a big help for a lot of people

    Three cheers may be overdoing it, two and a half cheers is certainly appropriate.

    Now, if we can only persuade the powers that be to look again urgently at the business banking application, and drag it screaming into the 21st century.................................

    Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
