    Hello :)

So today I decided to see what Plex was (on my Roku LT) and immediately I was hooked :D

I want to have a full time media server running for Plex to access, instead of my laptop .

I saw a 4TB WD Network hard drive on Amazon for around €175 and was wondering is it possible to use this as my media server,as I do not want to invest in a PC .

My main purpose is to just access my movies/TV shows

    Cheers

P.S I'm very sorry if this has been asked before

Just search for 'Plex nas compatability list' and check if it's there.

You'll need a better NAS than a WD to have the power to transcode Plex, check out Synology or Qnap. It's more expensive, you'll have to buy your drives separate but will we'd up with a much better system
