    Preferably online.

Looking for decent 4 man tent with at least a 3000 hh

Recommendations on brand, type and where to get best value online would be much appreciated.

    TIA

You will see a few suggestions here.

    Also try Amazon UK.

This place is expensive but it sells good gear and there may be value to be had in their sales, if you keep an eye on it. http://www.theoutdoorshop.com/prodpage.asp?type=sub&sub=14000

I got great value from Halfords for 4 man and 6 man tunnel tents. They have been used by scouts and are holding up well.

Can anyone help me out here -

"Linked-In Groundsheet - Designed by Vango this enclosed groundsheet system offers all the comfort of a fully sewn in groundsheet but also gives added versatility because it can be rolled away when not needed and is easier to clean than a conventional fully sewn in ground sheet."

In the following tent, can I assume that the "linked-in" groundsheet refers to the porch area only and not the sleeping area?

No experience of that tent, but my reading of the description is the same as yours.

    Not your ornery onager
