    What is the minimum amount of lessons required before you do your full driving test? I've had a provisional licence for around 5 years

    If you don't need to do the 12 EDT lessons there is no requirement (permit issued afer April 2011). You can book your test anytime - I'd recommend that you do a mock-test with a instructor and see how you get on. They will let you know if you're ready for the test

    Thanks, yeah gunna do maybe one or two lessons anyway to know the craic

    Your provisional needs to be renewed before you can take lessons or drive.
