Kitchen worktop repair

I managed to scratch badly our kitchen laminated worktop. I cant find nobody in Ireland who fixes-repairs kitchen worktops, plenty of guys out there just fitting new worktops. A photo would help a lot. You might get away by melting some coloured lacquer into the damage - it easily bought online.
