Best options are either Formula Karting in Newry (http://www.formula-karting.com) for indoor, or Whiteriver Karting (http://www.whiteriver.ie) in Collon for outdoor.

thanks.. thats what I found on line but I just wanted to be sure..

Thinking of bringing a stag to the dogs in Dundalk and a more local go-carting place would be more convenient..

The one in Newry is no more than 10/15 mins from the dog track

It's only about 15/20 mins away and is definitely worth the drive. Although White River will have better karts, the Formula Karting set up is great, especially for an indoor track. Great craic when there's a large group.
