did you have the same model . hearing horror stories about rear tyre burn out on all turbos but have to admit am totally ignorant when it comes to turbos. woul you reccomend the above one. if i put a winter tyre on my bike would that help.

I have an older version, one with adjustable resistance and power measurements. I regularly did five hour intense turbos and then road it on the road with the same tyres.

just wondering what would the maximum time you would spend on the turbo before going mad / collapsing. i was planning on 1 hr sessions originally but was talking to someone training for ironman who sometimes used to do 3 1/2 hours. mind you he is mad.

i think 4 hours is the most i have done, only when the weather is crap, i could never motivate myself to do that much when i can go out

I bought the Elite mag trainer in Halfords earlier this year for €90. I hope the 'pack' has some goodies worth an extra €110.
