Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The engine number should be stamped on the engine itself:confused: The top pic numbers are just Gears

Yeah i thought that. Been looking all over and cant locate it though.

Reason for all this is it looks like there are 650 forks on my 1000 for some reason so i ran a motorcheck just to make sure everything else matches.

Owners manual should tell you. If you don't have one, google it, you can probably get a pdf. I even got a service manual for mine.

DL1000? Engine number is on the right side of the engine under the clutch cover, to the rear of the bellypan.
    Its on a rectangular casting.
VIN is usually on the steering headtube RHS

That 17 digit number beginning with JS is your VIN/chassis number.
