Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why would anyone vote not Dublin? If you're going to have to travel anyway, why not Dublin? It's just as easy to get to as anywhere else :P

To wreck somewhere else for a change

    Because it's not Cork.

I'd definitely be interested in going to this. I think I'd prefer to go to Galway or Waterford.

What usually happens is. The week before the shindig, everyone's username of who is going gets put in a Mod's hat.

A CMod picks out two usernames at a time. Those two usernames must cling to each other for the entire time like the 'buddy buddy' system.

If one goes to the loo they both go up the loo. If one goes to the bar both go to the bar. If one wants to play on the swings they go on the see saw. If one pulls (not going to happen)....there's a foursome.

At the end of the night if a team is missing, an Admin is awoken from their sleepy slumber and has to track the pair of creeps down. Usually found in Supermacs, Charlie's, a casino or on a roundabout.

    So yes, name tag.

I've never been to the Aran Islands.

Aran islands as a location would not be accessible for many or most I would think.

And here was I thinking it would be just like "Cocoon" only instead of oldies it would be Internet weirdos, briefly emerging from their subterranean layer.
    With Supermacs later, of course

Everytime this thread pops up ill say Ill go and I never do, but this time I definitely will!

There are no good pubs on the Aran Islands but if thats what people want then thats ok with me since I live in Galway. Galway would be good, but I know the last one was here.

Westport maybe? Its a nice town, loads of pubs and places to stay. Hard to get to if you don't have a car though.

The cost when you get there would ruin it.
