Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

would there be much support for a Boards Singles Night down the line?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,835 ✭✭✭✭cloud493

Would beer drinking be a necessity? Or would a cool flavoured soft drink suffice?

Beers are always fun (and they happen all over the country in my experience).

Last Dublin beers I went to was really good fun although I was surprised that the organizer left early, in my experience the organizer usually stays until the bitter end :D (I do when I organize them anyway lol)

So Dublin wins - I'm surprised tbh!

Pick a date boys and girls.

I've gone with just Saturdays as past experiences say that this is when more people will come.

And I've gone from September onward to give time enough to set and organise everything.

    Hope that's ok!

Also - will ye start suggesting places in Dublin to hold the beers.

I think someone suggested wetherspoons earlier which would be great and all but the problem is that it's not centrally located so if people are travelling to Dublin it's a bit unfair for them to have to travel out of the city too.

So city centre venues would work best please and thank you :)

(Messrs/Sweetmans are always very good to us, as are MacTurcaills - the former has craft beer, the latter has cheap pints!)
